Unless you purchase the physical gold, and have it actually delivered to you, and not just purchasing contracts that say you own some gold, but not enough exists to fullfill those those contracts, then yes it is a bubble.

IS Gold a bubble? Probably not, but the price does not always behave as one might expect. I think it is difficult to make money in Gold. But the sam can be said about stocks as well

Yes, I agree with you that gold is not bubble because there is lots of fluctuation in price of gold which depends on hallmark and if gold is bubble then its prices never come back.

I shudder anytime I see advertisements aimed and joe blow to buy gold because of the *huge run-up*.
A lot of the same hallmarks of when they were pushing the dot-coms or before that the easy money flipping real estate and so forth.
If things calm down economically it will drop quite a bit and there are no dividends etc. in the meantime on physical gold.
