Once upon a time I worked in a shop as a machinest and could make just about anything from a simple sketch. I could also examine a problem and then design, draw and build the machine needed. I enjoyed doing that but I could never figure out how to make a decent living in that trade. I really liked working with old mill machinery converting hydro mechanical drives to run electric generators but Ronnie Raygun killed that business.

What are the good paying jobs going to be? Financial b*ll s*hitters and stock market and insurance company shysters are going to do well. So will the military suppliers.

By the way, those machines run much faster. They slow it down for demonstration purposes. These days, making it doesn't bring home the bacon. Making thousands of them faster than the next guy is where it's at.
