A cartel of bankers have been systematically and methodically cheating the Libor scores on a global scale, affecting almost every financial market in the entire world.
Imagine... a system of "Hey what's your rates today" to a guy with a vested interest to the tune of tens of millions of dollars in the rate swinging a basis point this way or that produced numbers that weren't accurate. Shocker. Apparently there's damning evidence of it going back to 2005, but guys in the trenches have come out saying it was everyday in the '80s when they were on the floor. That's guys in the trenches, low level traders and analysts, not some bigwigs in a barred doors board room. Everyone knew it was occurring and no one cared.

Yeah, the Daddy vultures that call themselves politicians. You socialist propagandists can keep complaining until the end of time about the "big, greeedy bankers", but what you refuse to acknowledge is that the bankers are mere amatuers when it comes to greed and corruption. The greed you should REALLY be complaining about is GOVERNMENT greed - the kind that takes down banks in Europe when the value of their government bonds (supposedly the safest investments in the world, right?) collapse, and STILL these countries refuse to live within their means. Forget the bankers, governments are where you really need to start cleaning house. Oh wait, how silly of me to forget! You socialist types want the governments to run everything!!

They didn't repeal it because times had changed, they just found sell out "representatives" that were easily corrupted, while the American sheeple were at WalMart.
No need to know history. Just understand that power and greed kill dreams, goals, and people.
