You can afford anything you you like, even though you don't work than most and deserve less!

Being rich is like a vicious cycle, it's extremley hard to get out of, despite what people say.[/quote]

The Bootstrappers are losing it. Meanwhile, being rich is easy. Sort of like the second half of getting rich.

That post makes no sense at all, one can get out of being rich, all they have to do is donate all of their money to someone.

What is a "Bootstrapper"?

The Bootstrappers are those who somehow believe that they are self-made men, and who counsel other less fortunate men to pull themselves up by the bootstraps. This is apparently a two-step process requiring that one stop being lazy and stop making poor decisions. The Bootstrappers of course point with great pride to themselves as glowing examples of how well this process works, expecting that anyone who tries to do as they did will have found the path to financial success, while those who don't only mark themselves worthy of all sorts of foul-mouthed condemnation that The Bootstrappers themselves will be more than happy to provide.

It must suck. Never really to have to do, money can buy unlimited drugs to fill up the boredom.

Look at how many filthy rich pop stars overdose on drugs. Suicide rates aren't especially low for the very rich.

oh god some of them over-exaggerate but the bottom line is there a lot more poor people who are lazy, make excuses, continuously make **** poor financial decisions than there are well off people with those traits.that's not to say every single poor person is like that but many are and they would be much better off if they stop making excuses and lost the attitude that anybody owes them anything.the bootstrappers advice is a lot better than the blame everyone else for your problems and expect people to give you things regardless of your productivity so many people advocate.

sure the boot strappers have had some help along the way. so have tons of poor people who continue to make the same **** poor decisions while not taking advantage of the help that has been offered to them.when someone takes advantage of help to better themselves the people helping them are in fact helpers, when someone doesn't take advantage of the help those same people just become enablers after a while.

nothing is set in stone.there are unfortunately people out there who have mental or health problems they can't control severely hampers their ability to be productive and there are lazy spoiled children of filthy rich people. but most people are neither. it's just like losing weight- so many people blame their poor metabolism for being fat when they eat like **** and don't excersize.there are a very small group of overweight people who have thyroid problems they can't control, but for most people it's just excuse making for something they can control but choose not to.

lmao you don't say anything to actually refute what i said because a 6 world reply that says absolutely nothing is a lot easier.

are you seriously saying that on average poor people don't make worse life and financial decisions than rich people in this country or that they don't on average produce a lot less?

other than the small minority of those born to truly wealthy parents nobody has ever gotten rich because of a self entitled attitude or thinking the world owes them anything. sure it would be nice to have been born filthy rich but crying about the fact i wasnt makes as much sense as crying that i'm not good enough to be professional athlete or famous actor. at the end of the day those things won't pay the bills, going out and trying to be productive to change my situation has and will continue to do so.someone always has it worse than you, being jealous or begrudging someone who has it better than you get you nowhere fast.
