That's a really stupid thing to say. Both because you clearly don't understand the economics and apparently are quite the little person.

Do you know what value means?

Cause you're not adding much to the thread.

If you are OK with what amounts to a return to modern-day feudalism, knock yourself out

If you look at services provided by government and then who pays what its even more trickledown. Welfare is pure trickledown ;in fact.

NYC's rich sustain 153000 service sector jobs
Shouldn't that read, "153,000 workers sustain the lavish lifestyle of NYC's rich?

It's easy to understand, Fed prints money and buys paper which pushes money to the parasite class. NYC is a relic left over from its days as a world class manufacturing and trade destination. Now it is just a center of financial fraud, like London. Wipe it off the map, and main street USA is not harmed one bit. The rentier economy and bull jobs produce no real value, even a farmer produces more value than the parasite class.

It is the existence of cities like London and NYC that has caused people to work longer and for less reward. Without them high tech would mean we worked less and enjoyed the returns of capital ourselves.
