You're living in a fantasy world. Americas economy crashed in 2008 but the rest of the world continued to grow faster and faster. America is just a small part of the greater global economy, and it becomes smaller percent every year, its importance becomes smaller and smaller every year.

We had all better hope that the US dollar remains the world's reserve currency for a long long time to come.

Some change is probably to be expected over a longer time frame than just a few years. But you can bet that today the vast proportion of embedded powers that be still favor the USD and want to keep it that way.
So many people of power, leaders, business owners, politicians and crooks, industries, communities and countries have vast savings, holdings and investments based on or denominated in USD.

A visit to your local drug lord will probably not reveal many Yuan. <LOL>

Interesting fictional world you live in. The US crash caused the entire world economy to tumble.

It did indeed. And yet after 2008 the use of the USD in international transactions and the amount USD based debt throughout the world increased. The world fled to the security of the USD.
