Corporations can't be greedy. That's a human trait.
I wonder how you can be so certain of the reason that the razor was discontinued, just by the fact that they were owned by the same company. There is a whole HUGE host of reasons for doing that, from cost of materials to the fact that what you considered to be an "excellent" razor might not have been selling well.
Yes, you said corporations are greedy. And I said consumers are as well - you want something high value for low cost, no matter what situation the company is in. That's greed.

Alka Seltzer Plus, use to make a product that worked so well, that taken at late evening many symptom of a pre set in cold were gone by morning.
They took the product off the market, "the claim was it was giving people negative reactions", Rarely has a product left the shelves with such swiftness.
People were using "OVER THE COUNTER" Excedrine PM and Tylenol PM, and it was working, they found a way to get this off the market or make changes to reduce the effectiveness, because it cut into the COSTLY Prescription Sleeping Pill Market Shares.
Uh, no. It used to have PPA, part of the amphetamine class of drugs. PPA was banned from usage by the FDA in 2000 as it causes strokes. Masking symptoms of a cold with a drug that causes strokes when there are plenty of other drugs that are just as effective at masking symptoms of a cold is pretty dumb.
You can still get it with psuedoephedrine in it, you just have to get it behind the pharmacy counter which is mildly annoying.

Thank you, I did read something to that affect. Thank you for the re-clarification.

No, but wanting more money for our labors is greedy. You singled out CEO as being the only greedy party in the capitalism game - everyone involved is greedy. We all want more than we are given.
The difference is the people in charge can take what they want regardless of the consequences.

The Social Security Administration has just released wage statistics for 2013, and the numbers are startling. Last year, 50 percent of all American workers made less than $28,031, and 39 percent of all American workers made less than $20,000.
