Yes we millenials buy 500 dollar cell phones every few months, play video games all day, major in feminist lesbian studies, and expect to make six figures right after college....that's why we aren't making it......

Its ok. Once we millennials take office we'll see how you retirees feel when we take the moral high ground and eliminate social programs for the elderly in order to balance the budget Hope you weren't planning on that social security check or Medicaid...cause....you know...you should have planned better.
Really? You think the types whom millenials would vote for (like Obama) would like Grandma and Grandpa to "be forced to eat dog food"?

So which is it? Millenials have the lowest turnouts at polls, or millenials vote for Obama?

Both, the two are not mutually exclusive.

Now there's cutting off your nose to spite your face. Just what moral high ground are you referring to?

By all means, extend down the ladder, but do it with pro-growth policies, not with handouts.
No one is asking for handouts. Just a little understanding that things are not, as you have noted, at all comparable to how they were when today's seniors were 18-34.

Just how many jobs will be needed to figure out IP address exhaustion? Those jobs already exist. In fact, the millennials have greater opportunities than any previous generation. The problem is that far too many people think opportunity means entitlement. There is far too much "give me" with the millennials and not enough doing.

Going through the posts here one word seems to stick out - "want". Where does all the thinking that previous generations had it so much easier come from? Never before has there been so much opportunity for the new generations. Look around because the Chinese and many others aren't sitting on their hands blaming previous generations for their woes, they come here and work for their wants. Millennials are getting passed by.

No, the Chinese aren't working for under a dollar an hour. Just who do you see in record numbers attending our best Universities, buying up homes in cities like San Francisco, driving around in new cars? They are right here in the USA. Millennials always seem to blame the previous generation, hence the problem.

They are here buying the houses/cars/tuition/etc because they made all of their money in China on the backs of their own citizens who ARE making under a dollar an hour. They then take all that money made and move here to spend it.

Don't make it sound like they are moving here broke and then working hard here in America to get where they are.

Of course this isn't all of them. I'm sure there are some who indeed moved here broke and have worked up to be where they are.
