So long as there are no Hispanic sounding names, nobody cares.

Isn't there a sub-cesspool in Politics & Other Controversies where immigrant-haters are supposed to go?

Every white person I know hates statistics. Every stats teacher Ive had has been Asian (not just oriental).

How can an entire race hate and entire subject? The odds of that are very low, I'd say -- way worse than the odds of picking two red balls in a row from an urn containing three red balls and two black balls.

Asians who come to our country for an education lean towards math and the hard sciences because working with math symbols is easier than mastering the English language.

What I take from this is that people considering a major or advanced degree should think about statistics. While we have no way to know, I'd be willing to bet that most of these new graduates listed are gainfully employed now. There is a trend for companies to look at "big data" and business intelligence, with huge growth of software such as Tableau (we use it) and statistical analysis is huge in the modern advertising industry, and in tech companies competing with each other. Foreign or immigrant students do not go to college "for fun" or to find a spouse or have a social experience.
