How to break the horns of our clueless disconnected society? Milk the economy to a point of no return. The ISIS caliphate coupled with a pathological desire to go to war (believed to usher in their savior Mahdi) This has a dual outcome as they get their manufactured pagan leader and we go broke spending billions on war and home security and fighting ghosts and real radicalized nut cases. We are 110 trillion in debt and have a net worth of 126 trillion placing us in a near third world financial rating and a public suffering from affluencia to a point of glut stacking up an additional frenzied 5 trillion never ever able to be satisfied . The lack of preparation for a financial fall will result in the extermination of most Americans leaving us a takeover by a foreign power soon. Over a billion dollars of Humvees, cannons, missles, rifles and munitions once owned by US is in the hands of a multimillion dollar corporation called ISIS . Soon they will be offering college scholarships and franchising Taco Bells!!

And don't forget the Chinese are going to have the yaun as a world reserve currency soon. And you can't blame them. They have trillions of US dollars they had to take to sell their knock offs of American made products. When this happens the US dollar is going to lose ground. And when that happens it is going to be harder for the USA and its states and municipalities to borrow money. The Cool-Aid is going to get cut off..

It is a major mess and the candy a** Americans with their gotta have it all now greed are going to see major hard times. The next Greece sooner than people can imagine..

Did not help the issue with "artificial equality". All that did is put people in jobs they should not have. This country was built by the best and brightest of the world but now it is run by people who got where they are because of a quota system. Nice in theory but over the long haul disastrous in practice.

Crash and burn, that is where this airplane is going..

I'm not convinced that it is hardly possible to veer into our debt situation without some influential leaders deliberately steering it that way. We seem to have lost our minds after 9/11.

It's only like 18 trillion last I heard. U.S. National Debt Clock : Real Time

Anyway the op is in the ball park on a few things. ISIS, the Taliban, the Ukraine conflict are all about money. I don't know if it's a way to launder money, spread markets and influence them, empty old warehouses of weapons and ammunition such as eastern European countries are doing and in general make money by sowing misery.

Hell, it's probably all of the above. ISIS is a proxy army of the Saudis and other Gulf states. The Taliban? I don't know who writes their paychecks. Syria and Iran are largely on Russias side as are the Shia militias in Iraq. The US is backing ISIS indirectly while pushing for conflict in the eastern European area.

As I have said before. There is no profit in peace, the real money for the involved elites is in terror and warfare. God help you if you happen to be in an area like Syria or Ukraine. The leaders of this world care little for common people.

Confused yet? I know I don't have the half of it. One thing is for certain it will probably get worse and there is nothing any common people can do about it.

As for Americas decline it's not so much that we're going south it's that other economic powers are rising. China is on track to run us under it's treads soon. Our idiotic policy towards Russia has only forced them closer to China. I don't see either of them involved in wars they are not going to win.

China and Russia together are unbeatable and instead of respecting and working with them America is seeking conflict with them. There is no good going to come from it.

Let's see, what's the difference between the military power of Russia or China and say, Iraq?

See if you can figure it out.

Isn't it amazing they have so many people to micro manage another country, but they are only the size of a militia. They have staffing for departments focused on IT security and media relations (where is Jihadi John lately?), arts and crafts (manufacturing fake statues), finance, and transport in goods and commodities, in addition to full-time fighting.
