I am not sure if this is the right place to ask a tax question. So please free to point me in the right direction or even better maybe you can answer my question:
Husband's employer moved us last year out of state. I know I can file certain moving expenses and read all 60 pages of the relevant IRS tax code
I learned that I can claim our moving insurance for the actual move. Now can I claim repairs on our goods or even loss the movers caused that exceeded the deductible? And if so will this be claimed under moving expenses or general insurance loss? Hope I did not confuse you too much! Thanks so much
