Dallas Fed just confirmed my opinion

Quote:
The Dallas Federal Reserve's manufacturing index came in at -13.9 for April.

Economists had forecast that the index rose a bit to -10 from -13.6 in March, according to Bloomberg.

Although the headline index slipped, factory activity expanded for a second straight month, and production output grew. New orders, shipments and wages also increased.

But labor-market indicators showed that employment is still weak, although they rose.

The index was much stronger than expected last month, rebounding along with other regional manufacturing surveys that showed some improvement in March.

I have been bearish about starting a new business and even the Fed agrees with me

Especially manufacturing.

I don't know about service industry though.

It may be neutral or even positive depending on sector.

Just wanted to share cause everyone was saying like "Oh it's alright, you're bearish!!".

Not a good time guys!!

Looks like it's going back up again from that chart. You missed the downside.

I don't think you're bearish. I think you play fantasy tycoon like other people play fantasy football.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You're not bearish, you're scared. If you don't think your chosen business has a chance look for a different opportunity in the meantime. All this complaining and excuse making is reinforcing your fear of trying.

MORE LIKE FANTASY ECONOMIST . BUT WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE .

the reality is most folks that are like this who focus on every negative are not bears . they are permanently paralyzed from investing .

there will never be a good time . things are either ready to crash to them or they are over valued and headed for a bubble .

they just end up always waiting for that entry point that never appears

I wanna ride a smooth wave just like you mathjak

I'll be onboard if the Fed starts another round of QE or introduces negative rates you know.

I need some sort of sign to catch a nice ride.

I'm not asking for too much.
