Millennials shop for real bargains and buy less clothing. Have less disposable income due to lack of jobs. This all due to poor job creation, outsourcing, foreign worker dependence, and high debt load due to useless college degrees.

More reasons Millennials unlikely to vote for Hillary and prefers Sanders or Trump. Hillary doesn't have any solutions to help the 30 something and younger workers. She wants you to vote for her because she wants more rights for immigrants to work here. How about that? That's exactly what she's been pushing for, immigration changes and more perm status for illegals.

Do you think recent immigrants shop at Macy's?

Things will look much better for Macy's after they close these stores. Macy's are partly to blame as their stores are a dirty mess with lousy customer service and have been for quite some time. Their men's departments look like a hurricane hit them.

You are correct. The democrats have done a wonderful job of decimating the middle class, along with the places those in the middle class shop, like department stores. This is just a continuation of the trend of fewer department stores that has been going on for the past thirty years.

Amazon needs to be declared a monopoly and broken up. It's high time to tax the living hell out of Jeff Bezos and his unscrupulous company so the little guys have a fair playing field and are able to compete. Amazon is the epitome of crony capitalism.

You'll never pay more for something than you will in Macys.

Macy's is a rip off. If you can't compete, than you fail. Nothing to lose sleep over.

What amazes me is all these retail places go out of business, yet if you ask ANYONE they will spout off a dozen reasons why the store sucks, what they need to improve on etc.... yet the entire management team has no clue, can't make it happen, and they end up going under.

Is management really that detached?

Companies today, instead of doing what is necessary to increase sales and revenue to further increase profits, will instead cut expenses and keep cutting expenses right up to the point they have cut their way out of business.
