One of my dogs would love it! Especially if there's ladies at the drive thru. He's definitely a ladies man.

That's the federal minimum wage. In my state, it's much closer to $15 and getting closer every year. We have annual increases for the next 5 years until we hit $15 for the entire state. NYC will get there much faster than the rest of the state. The $7.25 hasn't been the min here in years!

Nah. They recognize photos of items. I've seen several primates at zoos that I was pretty sure were smarter than the morons banging on the glass window around their enclosure.

No,not at all. This has been in the works for decades. What I find funny is the people who want to say "see and then laugh at others being put out of work",yet you will patronize a company who fires a human replaces them with a robot and still charge you an arm and a leg and you don't say a word? This will not make you burger cheaper and question what happens when the machine breaks down(becuase it will)who will cook or clean ?

there are so few full time workers earning the federal minimum wage it gets way more attention than it deserves. Here's the deal

unskilled labor = poverty

simple concept

want more money, learn a marketable skill

Simple concept-AI is going to replace 99% of us eventually. Learn a marketable skill is a nice punchline that ignores what is actually coming.

In actual practice, payroll will drop. And the media never follows up on the p/r spin now.

I wouldn't say that I'm certain about much of anything. It's all probabilities, and logical consequences and trends. But I don't appreciate opposing opinions that amount to "I don't like it, so it isn't true". I don't like it either. That isn't why I believe it will happen.

I would never rely on anyone's expertise. I'd check it for myself. You'll find expert opinions all over the place. Many of them are shills and self promoters. Those who are more honest and reliable are not paid to "inform" the public.

Inquire, research, investigate, reason, and discuss. If you have an open mind and "no dog in the hunt", and you don't rush to a conclusion, you'll eventually find what you want to know.

When the grocery stores installed self checkouts, did they get increased traffic and sales to increase payroll? I didn't think so. Why anyone with any business sense would think the staff levels would go up at fast food resteraunts with kiosks in the intermediate or long term is beyond me.

Sounds like more spewing.
