If you were living in a 2 bedroom apartment for $1200 and then used the two rooms for Airbnb, how much could you expect to make?

If you were living on a two bedroom apartment that belonged to me and renting out rooms on airbnb, you could expect to earn yourself a nice fast eviction and many years of difficulty renting another place to live.

We just had an email from our apartment management reminding us this isn't allowed per our lease. Seems people are doing it anyway. Also, we were asked to notify management if we notice any neighbors doing what you are thinking about-- subletting your apartment. I would read your lease carefully.

Every lease I signed back in the day required that we get permission of the landlord to sublet, and what you're saying is a subletting situation.
