"the local MH dealer has one that is 600 sq ft and is only $35K"

Is it one of those park models? They are pretty cute. Is there a website you can share, please?

As I stated upthread, I am currently living in a 22 sq ft travel trailer purchased for 5k. There are lots of used travel trailers for sale in that price range. Why would anyone pay 100k?

I don't know who makes it, but it's so cute looks like a little log cabin with a porch. We were looking for something for my MIL to live in on our property, but she said it was too small.

Because thats cheap for the bay area? Because thats where the good paying jobs are? Because it beats renting an apartment in the bay area? Because you think next year you can sell it for 500k?

Thank you, it sounds just right for me. I'll take it, lol. Your MIL probably has a house full of stuff she would have to get rid of in order to fit in there.
