That was a head scratcher but I interpreted it as he ended up coming out ahead because he did nothing with his investments despite concerns and this made it more clear that trying to plan or predict how to win in the market is not effective.

if you had a pile of money that has been on the sidelines since 2012 thereby missing the entire bull run would you take that money and put it in an index fund starting TODAY?? If so, which index would you buy? INX, DJI or NDX? Or would you buy something like Vanguard Wellesley Income Admiral etc.
