Supply and Demand exist for natural goods, like water, oil, etc.

But when you discussed mass manufactured goods, you also have to consider the needs of the workers, not just the consumers.

So both in a way.

Historically it has been the same for many centuries. So no, this is not some arbitrary rule set that changes depending on the time of day, it is a system that does not require complicated laws like the private property system we have today.
I'm glad you're starting to see the reality. The reality that all personal property is still your property, not just a house you happen to be physically present in at that moment.

Read my posts friend. I’ve said a house that you’re living in, you still live in when you exit.

The question is ownership of multiple houses or property you don’t store, that requires state force to maintain and equates to unequal power.

Technically that’s true, but not in practice.

Mass manufacturered goods requires worker control of mass production, and the sales of excess goods are done in benefit of the producer.

Some version of the labor value theory, but not completely.

Since workers control the means, they distribute the output.

ah yes, so the free markets don't create new medical advancements, competition has nothing to do with it:

No, not “technically.” Supply and demand exists for everything.

Tell us about a single good or service where the laws of supply and demand don’t apply.

As with everything you’ve written, nothing in the previous quote is reality. Not even one part of it describes the world as it is.

Winterfall is at 426 posts and counting. What a wonderful country we have where someone can exist while having the equivalent of a full time job for three weeks obsessively responding to a single thread on this forum.

So... how's the social life coming along buddy?

Have you read the financial statements for each of the large pharma companies to understand how your post is inaccurate? Do you understand the difference between target identification and clinical development? Have you ever compared the cost of getting something to GLP tox versus running and paying for phase 3 development?
