What would be left of our financial system if this was to occur?

Until we have a vaccine, there can be no returns to “normal”. It’s easy to spout naïve nonsense about segregating old people or just giving them the heave-ho, but there is a group of folks called lawyers who will be more than happy make businesses and government leaders regret that kind of action.

You are probably right. 18 months of this and I am not sure what will be left of this country. I don't see a good outcome.

he's right, people and economy cannot return to normal with the virus going on. Most likely it will be a hybrid\light restart

I'd be prepared for 18 months +.
I'd hope it won't be that long.
Personally, I'm looking and hope for Aug 2020....
But that's a hope, just as May Is a hope.

I believe the US economy has already collapsed, the people are just being kept in the dark about it temporarily.

More than likely, its the US Govt trying everything they can to maintain control and order, they are not just going to willingly give up their authority to small localized armed groups. lol

There's no certainty that a vaccine would be effective for most people. People still get sick and die from the flu even with the vaccine for it.

Simply keeping the economy on hold for this mythological cure-all is not realistic in the least.

I think so. Not that a government policy will make it so, but I simply cannot see 80,000 people crammed into a college football stadium next September. I just don't see it happening. I don't think people will go.

Unless those 80,000 people have the antibodies.
