The BLS footnote in the May report basically said they're having major trouble gathering and processing data.

Things are definitely not anywhere close to normal. There are businesses shut down for good everywhere I go locally. I went to the next town over today and what was a bustling and gentrifying downtown district has permanently lost every 5th business.

At some point I think Wall Street will relflect more of the reality. The FAANGs are doing great because internet usage went up a ton. What happens when the free money train stops and people can't pay their phone or internet bills?
