^ Most [ALL] of the action happened in Asia and Europe time. Even though I did 7am ET trades, I only broke even by closing. Gold was done by US 9:00am trading.

Most all of the equity action is overnight. That's indicative of heavy QE activity. They goose the futures overnight to force the new cash into the stock market.

This sort of weaker USD is not going to be a problem compared to the virus. It makes our exports cheaper abroad and what Trump wanted anyway.

there is a connect between the dollars and the usd .... but a lot of golds price is also based on fear , greed and perception too.

kitco tells you every day how much is the dollars effect on golds price

Nah!

Gold does tend to cost more in USD's over time simply due to inflation of the USD.
But this too simplistic in the real world.

gold is now beating a total market fund and the s&p 500 with dividends over the:

ytd , 1 year , 3 year , 5 year , 15 year and 20 year periods .

equities is now only a head the 10 year ...
