It's in the NYT. The Fed took over the repo market to bail out hedge funds as banks shunned their collateral.

Losses are often deferred since compensation is tied to performance metric which can be manipulated. When the recession hits, they flush out the losing trades and get bailed out.

The Fed has exited the repo market as of two weeks ago.

No, you believed you had something that nobody else had because you want to believe it and do not understand what you are talking about. I believe that is what is obvious. None of this behavior is new nor unusual. We see people like you everyday in every walk of life.
