My large state agency employer also took a similar stance. Not sufficient time or resources to implement this (fake) tax holiday. I completely concur and glad they didn't impose this silliness and inconvenience on their employees.

Well if the "agency" is a talent agency that tries to convince wannabe stage moms that their ugly 2 year old is the next Shirley Temple, I don't think there would be a lot of credibility there.
Large state agencies are much more intelligent of course.
