Curious how many people that qualified - did not get their stimulus check and if a tax credit will do you any good?
Well, you posted your inquiry a bit early. Many were mailed out last week, to arrive this week. A couple of friends in the Bay Area got theirs this last Saturday, in the form of debit cards. Many others still haven't received theirs. You just have to be patient.
I can't even keep track of how many rounds there have been.
We got direct deposit (or maybe a check) last spring.
A couple months ago we got a debit card.
Two weeks ago we got a letter saying another check or card would arrive within 7 days. (It hasn't.) But the stimulus bill hasn't been passed yet, so I don't know what this one is even for, or if it's legitimate. It's addressed to both of us and says we're getting $1200.

Was this letter actually Notice-1444B from the IRS ? If so, it is a confirmation of the 2nd (and last ) payment you received. We just now got our letter after getting DD in January !! Shows how behind the IRS & USPS is.

Yes.
Thanks. At first I thought maybe that's what it was - a late-arriving letter - but the date on the letter threw me. You're probably right. When the card itself arrived sans letter we were suspicious and held onto it for a while until other friends/neighbors said they'd also received them.
We got a paper check the first time. It was $7 but we did not cash it. Since we qualified for $7 the first time, it seems we should get a check for $3.50 to help us stimulate the economy, but it never came. : (
