Excuse me? Who are you calling an idiot? I have spent more money on my home projects in the last 3 months than I have in the previous 3 years. I have no need of any stimulus money you fool.

Latest update - the last round of Direct Deposit will hit tomorrow, 3/24. After that, any remaining payments will be sent either paper check or debit card.

Thanks for that update. It does appear that most Social Security recipients will be getting the payment in this round. I have my fingers crossed that mine is going to come tomorrow.

The law authorizing the $1400 payment was only signed March 11, the first batch of direct deposit was Mar 17, the next is tomorrow, March 24.

That's not fast enough for you ?

No, not really. Because I know they can do better. I got the second payment in two days after it was signed. I have now been waiting two weeks for this one, and I still don't have it. If I had known it was going to take this long, I could have prepared better for it.

Not yet. I'm really worried about that article that said that only current Direct Express card holders can receive the latest stimulus payment. If that is true, and they changed the way the payments are made, I'm not happy. The way they distributed the second payment worked perfectly. I'm not sure why they would fix what wasn't broken.

I posted a different link, but they are saying those receiving certain benefits like SS, SSI, SSDI are, mostly, last in line, so, I thinking don't count on getting it this week though some might.

Another article I found on the matter,

https://www.fool.com/the-ascent/pers...w-to-track-it/

Part of the article:

"There could be a few other snags that cause delays as well. For example, the timeline for the stimulus payments that are funneled through the Social Security Administration, Railroad Retirement Board, and the Veterans Association is still unclear. This includes the payments to qualifying Americans who receive survivor or disability benefits (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits".

This is not the first time that Social Security recipients have had to wait for information on their stimulus payments. Some seniors waited a month or longer for the first round of stimulus checks
This is not the first time that Social Security recipients have had to wait for information on their stimulus payments. Some seniors waited a month or longer for the first round of stimulus checks.

The IRS has not given a firm date for when those stimulus payments would be issued, but noted that it is "working directly with the Social Security Administration, the Railroad Retirement Board, and the Veterans Administration to obtain updated 2021 information for recipients to ensure it is sending automatic payments to as many people as possible. More information about when these payments will be made will be provided on IRS.gov as soon as it becomes available."

What happened to the upper income limits?

Is Bezos getting his $1,400 too?
As someone who received partial checks for the 1st 2 and absolutely nothing for the 3rd, I will say that income limits are definitely in force, especially the 11th hour stroke of the pen reduction in income limits applied to stimulus check #3. With 3 children, 2 in college, the extra money that would have happened with this last one would have been very helpful to the family budget.
