They may not be above for that particular area. where our Walmart is the median household income is 102k.

It is irrelevant to compare it to anywhere else except in the area it is located

I miss the days of getting what I need at WM, then getting a terrific Prime Rib dinner at the Chop House.

Since I quit my membership at Amazon I buy a lot of items online at Walmart.com where many items are priced lower then anywhere else including Amazon. I still use Amazon to find items and read the reviews, then I buy them at Walmart.com.

I always prefer Walmart to Amazon ..I can’t stand having to back out the premium shipping they try to add automatically every time or deal with their prime promotions snuck into the total

I like both. I take Amazon's $12.99/mth prime plan, and since I average 4-6 shipments a month, I save a bundle and get stuff ultra fast.

I often find better prices on Amazon than in any store.

There are two Walmarts in Scottsdale and one that serves Paradise Valley, which is an even more expensive area than Scottsdale.

We do love our Walmarts here. They're clean, the people are helpful (if sometimes stressed) and I like their prices. I rarely see any fat people.

I subscribed to W+, Walmart's unlimited free shipping plan for $99/year. That's working out well too.

I am familiar and like all of Scottsdale, they look superb and are well run.

I wonder if online shopping was considered.
I shop Walmart online all the time. I hate going inside the store as they don't carry some of the of the items I frequently order.
Minimum order for free shipping is $35 and my orders average $36.
Over half the items come from the local Walmart which is 1.2 miles from house.
If you exclude the widows on Social Security, I would say the typical household income in my neighborhood is over $100K.

They failed to state that it was household income. This has been reported in the past. Because of Walmart's share of the supermarket sales, they're right at the average overall.
