Peak oil isn't real. It's a construct. The crack up boom is extreme; we'll see a depression before we lose control of the Dollar.

If you want to be depressed about something why don't you focus on the end of life on planet earth -- LOL. That's what's really happening that is going to grow more devastating over time.

Demonstrate to me that it's possible to extract a finite resource indefinitely, and I'll give credence to what you're saying.

The laws of geology and thermodynamics are not "constructs."

We are not "allowed" to have recessions/depressions. The 'depression' will be the result of the crack-up boom.

That won't happen for many, many eons from now. Man himself may go extinct due to the coming crisis. That is an extreme possibility, but certainly not impossible.

This whole entire fantasy is being marketed by people trying to sell shares in foreign stock markets and foreign bonds, etc. They want you to take money out of the Western system and instead invest in Mexico or China. Lame brained idea. Make a few billionaires rich while it damages Western system. Putin loves the idea.

It's not extreme; its going to get too hot to grow food and have water...

They always find more oil. I realize they think they have 40-50 years; but, they continually find more.

Humans don't have much time due to the heating of the planet... ...incoming...

Water is a far bigger issue than oil. But, good luck with that.

So we have had economic growth almost continually for almost 250 years - what makes this year any different - why is this year the one that becomes "terminally unsustainable".

Those that keep posting the same stuff about "peak oil" over and over again....?

And it is coming to an end....

The runaway train of perpetual economic growth and debt expansion is about to crash into an utterly unforgiving concrete wall of finite resources and energy

You do have a way of making it sound almost poetically romantic.

You failed to answer - what is the driver for this year being the year everything fails after almost 250 years and why post the same stuff time after time.

If one is going to predict doom you need to predict the same things over and over …one day it may even happen
