The stock market loves inflation are you kidding me? Asset prices get bud through the roof. The market is selling on bad economic data. We have the rare record inflation AND 0 growth. Not a good situation.
We stockholders like the usual low grade endemic inflation, like 2%.
We stockholders love it when the federal gov't kicks in vast sums of new money to help stave off recession. As in QE stimulus post 2008 crash, and 2020/21 stimulus per Trump/Biden with Covid.

We stockholders dread deflation, because most of our stock values will be lower next year.
