The government is trying to decide if we are going into a recession.
I think we all know what is going on. Why don't they?

Government at all levels has acknowledged an economic slowdown. A recession is a particular measure that that is not easily recognized.

Technically a recession is two consecutive quarters of growth contraction. We have not seen that yet although in truth it is often hard to tell if you are in recession until after the fact.

This administration will NEVER take responsibility for anything it does, let alone a recession.

They are afraid so they tweak the numbers a bit.. they don't want you to know you are in a recession so that you keep spending... the more you spend, the more money they make as well as keeping businesses profitable... if they tell you there is a recession and to save and pay down your debts, the government makes less money and so do corporations (who also happen to run the government)... if you could lie and make billions of dollars or tell the truth and face bankruptcy... what would you do? I understand why they are doing it, I just plan a little bit more intelligently on my future plans... I rather be two steps ahead of them then ten steps behind them...
