Now that they have started the mailing of the checks I was wondering if people having trouble. We got a paper saying when our was suppose to come. The date was only a few days ago. On the web site it says it takes up to 5 days to get it. Is the date that is listed not the date you get it but the date it was sent. I heard people are having problems and it would be our luck we will be one of them. I'm not going to panic as it has only been two days.

As stated on the IRS website, the date stated is the date the IRS will mail the check. The postal system handles the rest, along with any delays caused by weather, construction, etc.

And they say...if you haven't gotten it, don't worry for six weeks.

Not a problem here, as I still OWE the IRS about a hundred bucks.
