The Belgian brewer has reportedly hiked its takeover bid for the brewer of Budweiser beer by $5 a share, to $70, valuing its target at $50.8 billion, and Anheuser has also reportedly agreed to engage in friendly talks. In June, InBev launched an unsolicited $46.3 billion takeover offer, sparking animosity between the two companies.

I don't care who owns it as long as they leave the jobs here and the brand alone.

I dont think so KevK. InBev is known for cost-cutting. We'll see how long it takes them to start cutting.

There are probably places they should cut because in any big organization there is plenty or waste and over management. But they need to leave the brand and the things that are associated with it- including the "King" and the "horses" alone as well as the brands sponsorships of the major concert circuits and sporting events. Those are what made Bud what it is. Things like "Bud man, Cub Fan". The fact is that they bought a very sucessful company and it would be stupid for them to ruin it.
