An ounce of gold still buys you 200-250 gallons of fuel. Has since the Clinton Administration. Prices are the same, you're just using dollars to pay for it .

I don't believe gas was ever .89 a gallon when the lying POS was in the white house. I believe you've got to go back to the Carter / Reagen era for those days.

He believes we'll actually do the right thing and the dollar will only lose about 50-80% of its value in the best case before finding support about 5 years from now.
Five years from now we'll all be using the Amero, won't we?

I think you'll see price/wage controls, restricting of foreign investments by those living in the US, and confiscation of gold before an Amero.

Bush & Chaney are oil financiers. Anyone surprised at the price of oil?

I'll take a philanderer any day over a manipulating monopolist. The philanderer screws his acquaintances; the monopolist screws my wallet. I could not care less about the former but I am very concerned about the later. My records indicate that my standard of living has dropped about 30% since Bush and his cronies cheated their way into the White House. No wonder I am a Democrat.

o one is going to propose wage and price contols that has the power to make a difference because of teh Carter experience with them that failed and caused his elction to fail. They also would propose elimination of foreign investmnents because they want the money to flow into the industries that are doing best in these markets. In the end it will take the feds cutting spending to have this economy to turn around and alot of the money in energy that flows from this country to foreign markets to have the economy turn around. That will take at least tenyears efore most notice a difference in their lifes.
