I love the way this article reads. It's all like, "Is he doing this because he believes the market is recovering? OR "Is he doing this because he believes the markey is totally going to tank?"

In other words, they have no idea why he's doing this, but it's Paulson...so it's news.

I'll sell him 200 shares. That's all the financials I have left. I would have sold those, except they're already down 83% and I figure I'll just ride them to zero... or be pleasantly shocked if they rebound.

He is buying, he believes financials are bottoming. He is betting the housing bail out bill will bail out the banks. I doubt it. The banks are in much more trouble that anyone is admitting.
