New Home Market, Durable Goods Defy Gloomy June Views - Yahoo! News (broken link)

This is the first promising national news I think I have heard. It sounds like inventories are dropping, and prices may be trending back up again.

Things always start to do better during the selling season, the numbers to look at are the year over year numbers. Everything is down from this time last year.

Also, this is just new homes. The market still has to deal with all the over building that was done over the last few years.
