Regardless of his spelling abilities, Chuck22b is a pretty smart guy. He may or may not have gone to a top school (he might have, I don't know). If he didn't, he certainly has a world of real life experience to back him up.

Looked good to me. I just jumped to the summary in the 19th chapter, that was good enough.

this means nothing when that GDP is largely based on consumer spending and that spending was based on faux wealth (easy credit). People, you are not seeing the big picture. You keep mistaking a few trees for the forest.

Thanks Humboldt1 for taking up my defense... and thanks guys for poking fun of a lapse of spelling .

fyi, I don't have any education debt... and I actually went to one of the most prestigious schools in Chicagoland (albeit not an English major).... and have my masters too.

Anyhow, I agree with Wild Style that GDP based on consumption means nothing. And our GDP may very well erode very quickly causing our debt to GDP ratio to go sky high. Unless our retail/service jobs pay a living wage... we're going to be in a lot of hurt.

New Jersey,

You might actually try listening to some of his stuff. Marc Faber got his PhD in Economics at the age of 24. Very smart guy. Genius.

He publishes the "Gloom, Boom, and Doom" report -- that's how he got the name Dr. Doom.
