If they do then I would say they would be the first to go bankrupt between all the mergers that have happened... both are way in debt and combining the two would be disastrous... there are "good" mergers and then there are "bad" mergers... these two are the bad ones cause both of them need to be bought off by someone better... adding two bad institutions together doesn't mean we get a better one out of it...
