I am predicting bailout or no bailout the Dow will hit 8,500 as a bottom. Right now people are only focused on bailout . The underlying economic numbers are deteriorating rapidly. Wait til earnings reports in 2 weeks. Unemployment numbers were worse than expected.

Not a lot of good news but some golden opportunities for people with cash. There should be some once in a lifetime bargains in the market by end of year.
