I hope not... I really want to buy a Chevy Volt but why would I buy if a company is going to go bankrupt and won't have the parts necessary to fix the car because they are out of business?

Why buy a new car when you can nurse the paid-for one along for another 50,000 miles? I mean my wife and I both make good money, but we drive our cars for roughly ten years. The only people who will be buying will be the ones whose leases expire.

Really bad news to the Detroit Area, I hope that it is just not the Detroit 3 that will do poorly or possibly collapse but also the Japanese and other Asian automakers.

I dont expect a collapse, but things will likely be lean for the next few years.
