Just curious- where do you go to get just "the facts" if you are an average person with average knowledge of the stock market and finance?
Is there a good site that anyone can recommend? I am not well-versed in the financial jargon, but I like to think I have a little common sense. I am tired of news reports telling me what to believe. Just give me the facts to read and let me figure it out! Know what I mean?
Many thanks!

There's no one site, but if you're looking for that, I'd use bloomberg.com for information, not commentary. And/or Marketwatch.com

I don't think anyone knows the real story out there but the ones that are making it.

Hi Kimmie,

The first one has some Marxist junk at the end just go to about the 6 min mark on the first to understand the money system. The other one is comprehensive. You won't like it.

Zeitgeist - The Movie
The Money Masters - How International Bankers Gained Control of America

She's looking for facts, not bizarre theories supported by slanted views pushing an agenda.

Hi Kimmie,

The answer is you just keep reading. I've found my way to some great sources by reading posts on this board. I also check the articles on patrick.net and I enjoy reading what Michael Hudson writes (google him). Also iTulip is another good source. I sign up for News Bulletins to get summaries from major newspapers. I read Huffington Post. I also check articles on newspapers in other countries. Just keep clicking and reading. There's so much out there.

If you bookmark and regularly sample the fare at these web sites, you will have a good grasp of not only the economy, but current events as they affect it. Good reading:

Financial Sense - Uncommon News and Views for the Wise Investor

Safe Haven | Preservation of Capital |

and Jim Sinclair's Mineset (google it...I can't remember the URL). Sinclair's site is very pro-gold, BUT contains a lot of up-to-the-minute stuff not found elsewhere, esp international. Very astute man. Stop in to these sites every evening after work, and you'll be a pro in no time. Your friends will wonder where you learned it all!

If you go there with an open mind you can glean some tidbits from almost any site. Further independent research into that "tidbit" can either dismiss it or confirm it.
