I signed up to play. First timer. I have low expectations, but thought it would be fun to play.

I'm in. Not doing intraday trades, however. I won't be winning the $1M. I set up three portfolios.

Most set up multiple aliases and multiple portfolios in the CNBC and IBD contests. I went to a talk given by a broker who won the contests several times. They load up their portfolios with low-priced stocks that have the chance to make big moves. He said the other professionals were doing the same. They pick low-priced stocks with share prices under $5 that are in recent 52-week high lists and have high EPS rank.
