This may be a silly question, when did the "global recession" start? Have we been told yet? Monday's announcement was in reference to the US recession, correct?

The reason I ask, I heard that global recessions last on average 16-18 months and it would be nice to know when it started...

Thanks guys...

Who announces a global recession? If you know the answer to that (I don't) you can probably go to google and search the news section.

I don't know who would announce it. I saw a piece on the news and the announcer said we are in a global recession and they last 16-18 months...I was just wondering if anyone knew when it started...I did look it up...sorry to bother you...
