Is there any reason that some one can't transcribe that stuff? YouTube is just not my cup of tea...

You can be depressed or you can prepare. I can watch this stuff all day and still whistle all the way to work, laugh with my friends, and enjoy life. Pity to those who are intelligent enough to understand and implement their strategies but want to live with rose colored glasses and ignore things until it's too late.

Agreed. I never owned a pair of rose-colored glasses and am happily debt-free and pretty well situated to ride things out. It won't be without challenges, I'm sure. Hey, I'll be part of Fred Thompson's 'shovel brigade' if I have to...I got a strong back and hard work ethic.

It's still depressing to think that our nation ever got to this point...sort of a slow-motion trainwreck that will play out for a few years, according to these guys.

It's gut-check time, and sort of alarming to me that a lot of people out there don't 'get it' yet.

My prediction for the "Big 3" for 2009:

They will miss the boat just like they did in 2008.
