So I was just thinking and I'm not even sure if this question would be better asked on another forum, but would I retroactively qualify for an extra $300 if I had a child in 2008, but after the stimulus checks from last year were already mailed out?

My wife and I did get the $1,200 for couples filing jointly, but we had a child in December and I'm not sure if I would be entitled to an extra $300 from last years rebate because of that?

Any help would be much appreciated

Never mind, I just found out the answer to my own question. I can count my child born in December towards last years stimulus payment. Sorry it won't let me delete my post
