Well freedom, my answer isn't up there. I haven't been affected financially yet but I would not say everything is "peachy".

I have a job but I worry for how long....
I've cut back expenses and still try to cut back more in case I get layed off
Psychologically YES I am affected by it and trying to do what I can to change and adjust to a lower standard of living.

Life is just peachy for me, and it has been for a long time. I haven't cut back on any expenses.

I have a secure job, so the probability of me getting laid off is minimal. The one thing that has affected me indirectly is that I'm trying to look for a new job to earn more money, but it seems since the economy has tanked, there is greater competition for less jobs, so it might be a while.

I have not been affected by the downturn. I know a few people in this town have lost jobs or had their hours cut,but we are still rolling along as usual.

Life could be better, but I never have done so well. I just bought a business recently and production is up 30% over last year. I am sure it would be better in a better economy.

Still have my job, haven't had any hours cut. I am however preparing for the worst. Even though i don't think we will hit the depths of a depression, I do believe it's a remote possibility.

So yeah it has effected me in some way, psychological like a previous poster mentioned.

Personally, no. But family obligations to those who have been burned by the downturn make me say yes. They won't get a bailout, but the slobs who abused the mortgages, the politicians who let them, and the thieves who ruined sound companies will. There is no justice for the innocent.
