Unless someone is a professional designer, they are probably better off not having a website if you plan to design it yourself!

All dynamic websites are built with "high level programming languages".

Outsourcing, whatcha going to do about it?

You can either sit there complaining and whining like a toddler that it's happening.

or

You can deal with the impacts it makes and more on with your life, which can mean retraining and education into other job positions.

I can say that option 1 won't get you sympathy or people handing you money.

All a person has to do today when in a mkt is look at the label from an American company and see the words "Product of China". The product is purchased in bulk and canned here in the US.

Same thing goes for some clothing. Americam label and on the backside "Made in XXXXX".

All imported items must state the origin by LAW.

I have two different pkgs of HANES t-shirts.

One pkg says "Made in Domnican Republic".

2nd pkg says "Made in Honduras".

Both HANES label...I wear it one time...wash and see it lose it's shape.

Nothing like the old original t-shirts they made years back.

Hanes sales many different types of t-shirts of varying quality. The quality differences have little to do where the shirt was made. Making a t-shirt is not rocket science.

Regarding website-this isn't just a simple website, complicated one. One programmer wouldn't make it in a month or two.

We just finished building a huge web site and it only took one programmer to do it. He just did the programming, nothing more..

I'd guess the OP was not talking about a web site as big as Amazon.

It does not take a programmer to add products to a web site.. Pretty much anyone can do that, if they are shown how to do it..

"Making a t-shirt is not rocket science"...very true...as the concept and design will always be similiar.

Bottom line is the material that is used for the product and the "QUALITY CONTROL" which "SUCKS".

Cut corners of all kinds and the end result is a "CRAPPY" product made in a foreign country.

I'm old enough to remember the Quality of American made products of decades ago that are still being used today by many. Products were made to last...not like today where imported items cost the same as former US products but do not last as long. We have become a throw away society with the poor quality of IMPORTED products.

The last sentence refers to the American companies who have decided to MFG in outsourced countries instead of the USA.

Outsourcing is the root of our economic problems. Excess credit cards are another.
Maybe some genius will figure out a way to get Americans to buy American made products at American prices with money saved from all these new good paying American jobs.

The answer is countervailling tariffs, reduction in H1b visas and control of our borders.
