Hello everyone, this is my 1st post and I am interested in finding out websites or other areas to research financial information like property taxes, home owner insurance, car insurance, phone, power, etc.. for comparing states. I live in tampa florida and am looking to relocate due to the huge increase in cost of living. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I caution you to take the rankings in those sites with a grain of salt. Since the calculations are done on a 'per capita' basis the big differences in demographics between states can make the results misleading. Even more misleading is the fact that local taxes are excluded which means that property taxes (the number one tax source in many states) are excluded.
