Does that mean China is America’s vassal since we extracted their real resources and labor for decades?
They’ll be independent of the USD, hmm? Pretty much everyone is independent of the CNY. No one will hold that trash.
CNY versus USD and it’s other allied powers of GBP, EUR, AUD, CAD, and JPY. Should be fun indeed.
I hope you don’t imply the fun is war, because the Indian Ocean would look pretty long to protect those great supply lines from Africa and Australia against the U.S Navy.
Yes, for twenty years American multinationals used China like a cheap prostitute, and that is not lost on the CCP leadership.
The nut they are trying to crack is the petrodollar, once they are able to get the oil they need outside of that hegemony, the days of USD dominance are numbered.
China will tolerate a multipolar world with SDRs, in fact it would be a big advantage for them versus the current system with the USD as primary exchange medium.
War? Never fun, but the Chinese Navy now has more and newer blue-water ships than the U.S. Navy. They stole the design of the W88 for their strategic arsenal, and more importantly they possess a huge surge capability to rapidly manufacture war machines when they are needed. What’s that old Teddy Roosevelt saying? Something about quietly carrying a big stick?

Ha! They’ll “tolerate” a multipolar world with the SDR. That’s rich.

Yet they are buying food, from us; as their country continues to flood.
Keep eating gorditas, leave the technology and geopolitics to others.
I’d say he or she probably knows far more about both than you from their post history.
And judging by your comments about China...”tolerating” the usd or the usd inclusion in a potential shift to using sdr’s....well...your dinner is here.
Their ability to mass manufacture military equipment is irrelevant. And speaking of big sticks, the referenced Ohio class sub is basically the most powerful weapon ever designed by humanity. Silent. Deadly. Impossible to find in time before retribution. 24 trident II missiles each splitting into eight separate 100 to 450 megaton nuclear detonations. And it’s also a form of protection against foes going after command and control infrastructure...because if they don’t receive the signals they need to receive....well....let’s say it’s not the best choice to wipe out America’s communication system.

China's economy is in big trouble right now. Speak to anyone on the ground in China and you'll get a much better perspective then a bunch of American's who get their info from CNN and Fox News.
Care to elaborate? Looks like you may be in the trenches in China ?
