Class envy is a funny thing.....but at the end of the day if you can't beat them....join them.
i fail to see what resentment for a government which is willing to sell its working population out for corporate money has to do with jealousy. this isn't a class envy issue at all. this issue is about establishing the stability of this country, which can only be done by having a healthy segment of the population working. people need to look beyond short term profit and think ahead.
You're sick and tired of the banking and Wall Street bailouts. Not to mention NAFTA and all that brought on. But Go*dammit you aren't about to give up your online banking or debit cards. And there's no way you're gonna pay more than a hundred bucks for a DVD player or two dollars for a head of lettuce, right?
There is no evidence that insourcing or outsourcing is neccessary to keep prices low. However, they are neccessary to continuously boost profits without raising prices significantly, or obtaining any more of the market share.
I work for my benefit. And in terms of "joining them", I don't have in mind going to their dinner parties. I mean playing the game as they do...
That requires being born into the right families, going to the right colleges, being in the right sororities, and knowing the right people. It is a member’s only club. The deals that make people really wealthy are made on golf courses, not in board rooms.
