ROFL..now that the death and destruction has taken place.
Well I guess they have to appear like they are doing something to clean it up.
Where were they in 2006 or 2005 when this stuff was just starting to heat up ?

I wish they take out the fraud in the government first... how can you punish the crooks when the cops are crooks too... the government can't fix the corporate fraud until it fixes its own fraud...

""I mean, everybody missed everything," - I love that... that is very naive. People likely knew what was going on, they just didn't care as long as they and others were making enough $$ on it. Nothing was going to stop that freight train.

i guess this is called picking favorites again:
According to Breuer, the FBI received upwards of 70,000 "suspicious activity reports" relating to possible mortgage fraud in 2009 and has 2,800 investigations under way nationwide. REALLY?
it is just more "dog and pony show" while ignoring the huge basic problems in the system.
