I read that earlier. They used their stimulus to build the world's fastest train as well.
They are also getting involved with other European nations.

Good move on China's part..they are moving up from the cheap mfg stage in development.
Remember Japan was once there too.

Meanwhile, back home, we have stagnated. Maybe seeing China win a bid will light a fire under some industries.
China is also making some big headway with alternative energy..they've taken the lead on solar panel production and are building 15-16 alternative energy research labs. They've also got some other countries involved in their research as well.

Yep. But we can't do that type stuff, here.

Southwest and the rest of Airlines bribe the legislature to make sure of that.
